While some of the more common 'english' names will be accepted, this is not to be abused. In fact, it is preferred that they aren't used at all, unless it's a shortening of a name. For example:
Billabong --> "Bill".
Additionally, please do not choose to use a name that belongs to someone, that is copyrighted, or that is commonly associated with a popular character (both fictional and nonfictional). No Eisenhowers, Sephiroths, or Voldemorts, thank you. We also believe that a character is made better and more unique if the player makes up a name or draws one from an obscure source and then alters it to become something new. If you need suggestions, just ask - you can be pointed to several excellent name generators.

I think also names that are obviously derived from popular anime, games, whathaveyou should also be denied.
Such as Sephirotha or something of that sort. Or sort of like what Sethos did. That kind of thing.
