Allowed: Any animal that is reasonably modern from the main Australian continent or Tasmania. This includes supposedly 'extinct' animals, such as the Thylacine. If you have questions, just ask a wizard.
Not Allowed: Anything not from Australia and the surrounding areas. Seagoing creatures and avians are a little less loosely restricted because of migratory paths.

Dingoes are not technically native to Australia, they were brought over by Asian settlers between 3500 and 4000 years ago. How are you going to deal with that?

That's true, but I think there'd be far too much of an uproar if dingoes were disallowed.. and honestly, they'd just make the whole thing more interesting. Additionally, the idea of human interaction is not yet decided. However, I've given this issue a bit of thought, and here's what I came up with: The dingoes came to the subcontinent in some way that none but them really know (Plot hook! XD), and have promptly attempted to take over. Right off the bat, there's a starting conflict and an explanation. As to how they got to this point? Perhaps an original pair floated over on a piece of driftwood, or were carried by a whale, skimming the surface. Either way, it would be required that it be rped out. Any ideas?
